The Challenge
|> Drive impulse purchase for the upscale, 75 pound Tailgating Grill
and cordless Frozen Concoction Maker in Costco.
|> Motivate shoppers by experiencing products "out of the box" (literally).
|> Showcase the brand image of a fun lifestyle that resonates with shoppers.

The Solution
|> Fun, engaging vignette was created with the grill attached to the
bumper of a pick-up truck in front of a Tiki Hut with the beach in the background.
|> Three dimensional roof drew interest and was created from recycled,
shredded corrugate.
|> “Fantasy moment” was created where shoppers saw themselves
as “that person” enjoying the tailgating, outdoor experience.
|> Education was incorporated in several graphic panels.
|> Durable steel welded structure bolted to custom-designed wood pallet
was engineered to hold the weight of the actual grill and blender.
|> Concept strength resulted in three pallet positions for display, grill
and blender vs one pallet position typical in Costco.
